Dr. R. S. Rathore, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics in Government Engineering College, Ajmer is working as Director on Deputation at All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) since July 2014.
He is life member of Indian Desalination Association and Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi.
Dr. R. S. Rathore did his Post Graduation in Physics with Specialization in Digital and Radio Electronics from Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He has also done his MBA in Human Resource Management. He did his Ph.D. in the field of High Efficiency Solar Distillation System and has published his work in various journals and conferences.
He was also sanctioned a project by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India under Water Technology Initiative for Installation of Solar Distillation Systems in different Rural Sites of Rajasthan.
Dr. R. S. Rathore was member of Indian Delegation visiting USA to study the Community College System in USA in 2012 and was also invited as a member in American Association of Community Colleges Annual Convention 2015. He was member of the Indian Delegation invited to present Country Report in SAARC HRDC Workshop on PPP for Skill Development in SAARC Region held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2013.
Dr. R. S. Rathore is nominated by AICTE as a member in UKIERI working group and Australia India Working Group. He is also AICTE nominee in various bodies such as Advisory Body of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Directorate General of Training (DGT)-MSDE, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh), Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (Kannur), Board of Governors (BOG), Govt. Engineering College (Bharatpur), etc.
